todo-cycle

written by Nick Anderson

Todo cycle is a simple todo list manager. It simply wraps your favorite editor and does some pre and post processing when you open and close a todo file. It is based on Tom Limoncelli’s todo management for a paper notbook as described in Time Management for System Administrators.

When you complete a task add a – in front of the line.

When you need to postpone a task add a > in front of the line.

It will take care of tasks that you forgot to postpone or that you neglected to finish before the next day.

Using it is as easy as droping cycle in your ~/bin and setting it chmod +x.
You can get the latest version of the script from git://github.com/cmdln/todo-cycle.git and you can visit the git-hub page http://github.com/cmdln/todo-cycle.

Contributions are welcome. Hope you enjoy and find it as useful as I have.
